  • 14 May 2024 Shri Dapborlang Khongthah lodged a complaint that on May 5 around 8 pm, unknown miscreant(s) stole his scooter which was parked near Seng Khasi School, Jaiaw, Shillong.
  • 14 May 2024 On May 13 afternoon, unknown miscreant(s) broke into the residence of one Smt. Domeris Khongsit at Baniun, Upper Shillong and committed theft.
  • 14 May 2024 A female resident of a locality in Shillong lodged a complaint that between May 8 & 9, she was cheated of Rs. 46,000/-, while responding to an advertisement on social media platform ‘Telegram’.
  • 14 May 2024 Shri Damewanmi Suchiang lodged a complaint that on May 13 at about 4.20 am, unidentified miscreants broke into his shop at Rymbai Filling Station, Mawlai Mawiong, Shillong and stole goods and CCTV monitor, etc. However, the incident was captured on CCTV.

  • 14 May 2024 On May 13, Nokma of Kotchugre village under Rajabala PS (WGH) verbally informed Police that unidentified miscreant(s) assaulted one Shri Gujeng M Sangma (39 yrs) of the same village. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CHC Bhaitbari, from where was referred to CH Tura.

  • 14 May 2024 Shri Satyanarayan Sharma of Lower Babupara, Tura (WGH) lodged a complaint that on May 11 circa 6.30 am, his motorcycle was found missing from its parking place.
  • 14 May 2024 Shri Omor Ali of Kasaripara village (WGH) lodged a complaint that one Galnet Sangma borrowed Rs. 4.75 lakh from him with a promise to repay the same within fourteen months, failing which, he agreed to hand over his Bolero pick-up (ML-08E-1844) to the complainant. The complainant further stated that later he learnt that on May 15, Galnet Sangma sold the aforementioned vehicle to another person, without his consent.
